On the occasion of the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Hungarian State Aid Monitoring Office would like to invite you to the

State Aid Day

organised in Budapest following the tradition of previous years.


The State Aid Day will take place on
Thursday 12 May and Friday 13 May 2011
in Budapest.

The purpose of the event is set up a platform for informal meeting point and networking among the participants. Representatives of State aid authorities and State aid experts of different Member States are invited.

The presentations of distinguished State aid experts from the European Commission and the Member States will focus on the following issues:

  1. Present and future of the state aid policy
  2. The interplay between Structural Funds and State Aid
  3. Experiences of the simplification package – simplified procedure, best practices, recovery. Plans for the procedural reform?

The potential number of participants is limited to approximately 100 persons, so please indicate your intention to participate as soon as possible.
